  • Claude Lévi-Strauss passed away…

    Claude Lévi-Strauss, one of the last giants of 20th century French thinking, passed away few days before his 101st birthday. The founder of structural anthropology, the “astronomer of the human constellations”, and the universal scope of whose work radically changed Western thinking celebrated his hundredth birthday on 28 November - and the Académie Française its first centenarian, as he is the first of its “Immortals” since its foundation in 1634 to have ever reached that age.

  • IRENA puts the spotlight on renewable energy

  • Kunjungan Kelompok Persahabatan Perancis-Indonesia, 16 - 20 November 2009

    Bapak Jean-Jacques Guillet, Ketua Kelompok Persahabatan Perancis Indonesia Assemblée Nationale (Majelis Nasional Perancis), dan dua orang wakilnya, Ibu Françoise Olivier-Coupeau dan Bapak Jean-Marie Le Guen, mengadakan pekan lawatan ke Indonesia dari tanggal 16 s.d. 20 November 2009.   • Colours of France 2009

    From 12 to 19 October 2009, ATOUT FRANCE in South East Asia had organised “Colours of France” 2009, the annual series of workshops for travel trade professionals and the media, in close partnership with Air France and other esteemed French travel industry stakeholders. This year, “Colours of France” kicked off in Singapore, before moving on to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Jakarta. Altogether, “Colours of France” 2009 saw the attendance of more than 350 travel trade professionals and 101 journalists who were all eager to find out updates and information on the latest in France’s unique offerings, from services and products to its beautiful cities and regions.
